Im loosing my blogging desire.....

We are so busy these days and I have found the computer along with having a baby is sucking all my time !!!! LOL. Im just not keeping up as much as I used to but I will keep posting when things come up ! Funny the other day... Evan asked me where does "Crunchy" chicken come from. We were having a whole discussion about whre the meat we were eating comes from! I told the truth and that brought on lots of talk about it! We went swimming today and Jacob loves being thrown into the water and swim back to me. Evan likes to pretend he is throwing himself ! Isaac is so sweet with his little smiles so many of them everyday !!!! He finally liked a bottle of formula today! His sleep is all over the board with not much schedule but we will get there soon! We are excited for Evan's 3rd Birthday coming in two weeks! He asked for a "Yellow " Party. Yellow Jello I guess and Lemonade is what Im thinking so far along with cups and balloons !!!! Enjoy the summer days

Beach story... !!!

I was thinking today that I did not share any stories from the beach trip. Well this one is my most favorite story in a long time with boys. Evan last year was not into taking pictures when asked to and we have a picture with Jacob and his two cousins smiling and then Evan pulling away from them with a ugly face on. Well this year when "Curtis" came by with his scopes equipment to take pics Evan decided to pull the same thing but this time he was crying so much and would not even look at camera. By this point in the day I was very frustrated with Evan and his attitude and (lack of)willingness to be nice and do anything... so I just threw my hands up and said forget it. Curtis said he would come back, but this was our last day on the Beach. A few minutes went by as I laid there on my blanket and thought about what just happened. Evan cried and did not want to take a picture and he got exactly what he wanted. I let him mess up the pics. Something sparked in me and I jumped up and grabbed Evans hand. I marched him all the way up to the Beach house Breezeway and he got a spanking and a long timeout until I could cool down and he could. Then I told him he had only one option and that was take a nice family picture. We then proceeded to go down the Beach in the direction that I saw Curtis go and we found him. Curtis, Evan and I walked back up the beach to our family spot and we told Curtis we were ready. It was so funny walking back to our spot as Grandaddy and Auntie both saw us and was laughing at what I had just done. We lined up the four kids and told Evan to smile and it was the Biggest Best Smile Ever. Curtis remarked that that kid was night and day !!!!! I was determined not to be run over by a two year old........ we have to take control of our kids in this world I think and that day definitely sent a message to my boys!

Big day for us with a capital BEE !!!!

Oh my goodness..... Isaac rolled over today. And not just that did it once might do it again next week. He is rolling. I checked my "records" and Jacob still has Isaac and Evan beat. Jacob did it 7 days earlier than Isaac. Although my little Evan was almost a month later ! LOL ! Then we went for a walk to see our sweet newest friend that is 5 days old and at their house Evan went to "whosh" a bug away and it was a Bee and it stung him on his ring finger. Luckily no reactions. I was nervous because we have allergies to environment and food and got him home quick with some Benadryl. My dearest friend that is an ER nurse let me know that he should be fine with no reactions yet but that does not mean the next time he would not have reaction so keep that in mind ladies and gents!!! And I was going to get on here and write you that not much is going on today... ha ha ! When we all got up today I went back to my room for something and Jacob yelled out ... "Mommy...?" I replied.. "She is not here due to lack of enthusiasm for the day". Who knew I would have missed all this !!!!!!

Flower Power !

Today we made a Sandwich Flower. This would be good for boys or girls. Jacob and Evan loved it and I realized this is a good way to teach words too. The boys now know what the "stem" is !!! 4 Sandwich squares, Grapes in the middle, and two pretzel sticks. We had a great day. Jacob was in his outside pool today and reminded me that we have two slip n slides. So... mommy got them out and it has been all day fun! We also took the Dog in for a haicut and the boys enjoyed getting her back. They love her so much. She is in her senior years though and it makes me sad to think of the future when we loose her. I just got back from a run, I am training for a womens4mile race for Labor Day weekend. It sucks the first bit of the run but them I get my groove and now after being home Im energized! Amazing how that works.

Super Plump...

Jacob and I were watching the Deadliest Catch the other day and a Jenny Craig Comercial came on and Jacob said... whoa mommy that lady is really plump... Super Plump. I laugh at him and told him that I bet she was a really nice person but just needed to excersise. He said oh yeah! Then I said that is why mommy is running. I don't want to be super plump. He said, yeah we would bump into eachother. LOL! Then we left and went to Grocery. A man was in the Pizza lane and Jacob says hey mommy... that guy needs to excersise. LOL! So, I have taught Jacob not to point but now we have to work on talking about these things after we leave the store. He can say such silly things. Our week is okay. Isaac is sick and Dr. said just watch him, he has bad cough. Evan is pretty much potty trained unless he has to do #2 as soon as he wakes up. When he gets up in mornings he is the one that just comes outs and plays with toys and wait till someone wakes up. So if he has to go he just goes in pull up. We still put him in pull ups at night because I just have to much to do to worry about laundry all the time. Jacob is night trained so i dont worry, it will come later! Isaac has been forced to love the bottle !!!!! LOL. I have givien him one each morning as just a little supplement after nursing and then Joe gave him one for bed last night. He is doing good again. So... for you out there that stay home, make sure you use that bottle each week and not let them get out of routin because one day they just might not like it. Joe is going to start giving Isaac a bottle everynight for bed now and that gives me a chance to get back to reading and putting Jacob and Evan to bed. They loved it last night.. its the little things we all miss !!!!!!!!
