Im loosing my blogging desire.....

We are so busy these days and I have found the computer along with having a baby is sucking all my time !!!! LOL. Im just not keeping up as much as I used to but I will keep posting when things come up ! Funny the other day... Evan asked me where does "Crunchy" chicken come from. We were having a whole discussion about whre the meat we were eating comes from! I told the truth and that brought on lots of talk about it! We went swimming today and Jacob loves being thrown into the water and swim back to me. Evan likes to pretend he is throwing himself ! Isaac is so sweet with his little smiles so many of them everyday !!!! He finally liked a bottle of formula today! His sleep is all over the board with not much schedule but we will get there soon! We are excited for Evan's 3rd Birthday coming in two weeks! He asked for a "Yellow " Party. Yellow Jello I guess and Lemonade is what Im thinking so far along with cups and balloons !!!! Enjoy the summer days

Beach story... !!!

I was thinking today that I did not share any stories from the beach trip. Well this one is my most favorite story in a long time with boys. Evan last year was not into taking pictures when asked to and we have a picture with Jacob and his two cousins smiling and then Evan pulling away from them with a ugly face on. Well this year when "Curtis" came by with his scopes equipment to take pics Evan decided to pull the same thing but this time he was crying so much and would not even look at camera. By this point in the day I was very frustrated with Evan and his attitude and (lack of)willingness to be nice and do anything... so I just threw my hands up and said forget it. Curtis said he would come back, but this was our last day on the Beach. A few minutes went by as I laid there on my blanket and thought about what just happened. Evan cried and did not want to take a picture and he got exactly what he wanted. I let him mess up the pics. Something sparked in me and I jumped up and grabbed Evans hand. I marched him all the way up to the Beach house Breezeway and he got a spanking and a long timeout until I could cool down and he could. Then I told him he had only one option and that was take a nice family picture. We then proceeded to go down the Beach in the direction that I saw Curtis go and we found him. Curtis, Evan and I walked back up the beach to our family spot and we told Curtis we were ready. It was so funny walking back to our spot as Grandaddy and Auntie both saw us and was laughing at what I had just done. We lined up the four kids and told Evan to smile and it was the Biggest Best Smile Ever. Curtis remarked that that kid was night and day !!!!! I was determined not to be run over by a two year old........ we have to take control of our kids in this world I think and that day definitely sent a message to my boys!

Big day for us with a capital BEE !!!!

Oh my goodness..... Isaac rolled over today. And not just that did it once might do it again next week. He is rolling. I checked my "records" and Jacob still has Isaac and Evan beat. Jacob did it 7 days earlier than Isaac. Although my little Evan was almost a month later ! LOL ! Then we went for a walk to see our sweet newest friend that is 5 days old and at their house Evan went to "whosh" a bug away and it was a Bee and it stung him on his ring finger. Luckily no reactions. I was nervous because we have allergies to environment and food and got him home quick with some Benadryl. My dearest friend that is an ER nurse let me know that he should be fine with no reactions yet but that does not mean the next time he would not have reaction so keep that in mind ladies and gents!!! And I was going to get on here and write you that not much is going on today... ha ha ! When we all got up today I went back to my room for something and Jacob yelled out ... "Mommy...?" I replied.. "She is not here due to lack of enthusiasm for the day". Who knew I would have missed all this !!!!!!

Flower Power !

Today we made a Sandwich Flower. This would be good for boys or girls. Jacob and Evan loved it and I realized this is a good way to teach words too. The boys now know what the "stem" is !!! 4 Sandwich squares, Grapes in the middle, and two pretzel sticks. We had a great day. Jacob was in his outside pool today and reminded me that we have two slip n slides. So... mommy got them out and it has been all day fun! We also took the Dog in for a haicut and the boys enjoyed getting her back. They love her so much. She is in her senior years though and it makes me sad to think of the future when we loose her. I just got back from a run, I am training for a womens4mile race for Labor Day weekend. It sucks the first bit of the run but them I get my groove and now after being home Im energized! Amazing how that works.

Super Plump...

Jacob and I were watching the Deadliest Catch the other day and a Jenny Craig Comercial came on and Jacob said... whoa mommy that lady is really plump... Super Plump. I laugh at him and told him that I bet she was a really nice person but just needed to excersise. He said oh yeah! Then I said that is why mommy is running. I don't want to be super plump. He said, yeah we would bump into eachother. LOL! Then we left and went to Grocery. A man was in the Pizza lane and Jacob says hey mommy... that guy needs to excersise. LOL! So, I have taught Jacob not to point but now we have to work on talking about these things after we leave the store. He can say such silly things. Our week is okay. Isaac is sick and Dr. said just watch him, he has bad cough. Evan is pretty much potty trained unless he has to do #2 as soon as he wakes up. When he gets up in mornings he is the one that just comes outs and plays with toys and wait till someone wakes up. So if he has to go he just goes in pull up. We still put him in pull ups at night because I just have to much to do to worry about laundry all the time. Jacob is night trained so i dont worry, it will come later! Isaac has been forced to love the bottle !!!!! LOL. I have givien him one each morning as just a little supplement after nursing and then Joe gave him one for bed last night. He is doing good again. So... for you out there that stay home, make sure you use that bottle each week and not let them get out of routin because one day they just might not like it. Joe is going to start giving Isaac a bottle everynight for bed now and that gives me a chance to get back to reading and putting Jacob and Evan to bed. They loved it last night.. its the little things we all miss !!!!!!!!

Im back....

I left blogging for a little while... We have just traveld so much. Two times in May to Ohio and now two times in June to Maryland for the Beach. But, now home until late August. I have got us tickets for a Mickey Mouse concert... we look forward to that. Driving all the way to Ohio for that so that we can go with our cousin Luke !!! We just came back from the beach. Oh.. boys........ Jacob loved the water and Evan finally touched it on Day two. After that Evan was swimming in the Ocean, going under waves.. I mean getting knocked down by waves. LOL. We loved our times there. Before we left I bough all four kids four projects to do during down time or raining day times. We glued sea shells to a picture frame, painted stained glass, decorated our own tote bags to collect sea shells and had other little fun play things to create with ! That was really nice. We also did glow sticks on the beach after dark. Jacob and Evan stayed up past dark three times this week... I think that is a record. Last night they were so cute in the front yard collecting lightening bugs... it was like a child right of passage ! Isaac did really good at the Beach, but has decided to not take the bottle now. He got very mad at his Daddy one day when he realized mommy was not there to take care of him... we are in for a long road with this one..... Im going to keep blogging , sorry for the time lapse..................................

90 Day challange !

My church is blogging !!!!! Read the Bible in 90 days and/or check out the Blogging site !!!!!

Stuck and Stuck...

Yesterday we came home from and walk and my Hubby had locked the door of the house. As Jacob ran up to the door he fit the most perfect fit of a stick right into the key hole. Yes.. then it broke off and our family of 5 was stuck outside. I did a walk around the house, every window and back door was locked. The stick was really stuck in there.... but thanks to have a genius of a husband he borrowed a paper clip from a neighbor and got us in. Phew...

So sorry for the slacker in my for not posting..... I have been so busy with travel and then this week I am keeping the boys I used to keep just for this week. So for three days I have a 5 boys under 5 in my house !!!! They are cute together and the boys have missed eachother since I had Isaac.

The cutest thing.... Isaac is starting to Giggle. It is such a sweeet little sound !!!! So... home for a few more days and then off to O.C. again for the Beach !!!! This time gone for a whole week but may post while there. Trying to get my posting times back together, thanks for following us.

Beaching alone

Okay... having to do Mommy and Daddy duties for three days was alot. We went to the Beach had fun but I am worn out. I have a blister on my hand from digging sand castles out and searching for Sand Crabs... Once I found one everyone in our little area was asking me to find them one. We missed Daddy so much being gone this week. The boys hugged him all night last night. Jacob loves the Ocean and is 100% into playing in the water this year, which in return makes me 100% nervous to look away from him. Evan likes digging in the sand and staying close to momma! Not much into the waves yet, maybe next week he will be. Yes next week. We will be leaving for an 8 day trip back to our Beach house!!! This was just a teaser trip! Isaac not much into travel the beach or anything. Poor thing has to get drug around by us but he did okay. Its really hard to have baby at the Beach. They are not supposed to have sunscreen so have to stay in shade. I dont think mommy is getting much tan this year. So, Im feeling a little down these days. All my friends are running around having fun. We are having fun too but I feel like Im so busy with these three that its hard to get together with other people. This is just apart of motherhood though, each new baby is like being sum what of a new mom again and each child brings new feelings. Just keep plugging along though !!!!!!!! Looking forward to a nice weekend here at home and getting some yard work done in between nursing Isaac and taking care of little guys !!!!

Its been a few days...

Not much has been going on here.... We did have a full weekend though. Birthday Parties and swimming !!! The boys love water so much. Evan keeps splashing everyone that is around him and had a little girl that was same age saying to him..."Im not going to tell you again to stop". It was funny coming from her. I have not been into my blogging here past few days. I have been enjoying life and not getting on the computer as much. I can really get carried away and waste time on here before bed and need my sleep more than checking things out. I wont be blogging again until next weekend. We are packing for a 4 day trip to Beach !!!! Check back over next weekend.
Potty training is going great. I still put him in Diapers at night because of how much water and milk he consumes but in underwear full time during day! Isaac is sleeping better during the day but still not too long of naps like I would like, but it will come!

Oops! x 3

Poor Evan had an accident today while riding his bike. He looked up at me with his big blue eyes and had a scared look on his face and then I saw the stream and puddle.... he was sad but it happens in the beginning. It has even known to happen to the pro's too! Today has been a little crazy. I thought we had hair apointments at 10 and loaded up everyone in the rain to go and get there and unfortunatly it was yesterday... Silly me. Oh well, we are going to beach next week so I will have to do it when we get back. Then tonight I was putting clothes away and ran into the boys toy box in their room just inside their door and split my two smallest toes on my left foot. I screamed and did everything I could not to say a bad word. I possibly broke it because it hurts really bad when I walk. But,, I hear there is nothing to do for a toe anyhow. I am just sad I can't go out running tonight. Oh well, I guess I will have to eat a brownie instead !!!!

Potty for all !!!

I have a tip and its my new rule. If one child needs to go the the potty, then we all go use the potty. This prevents you from going back again in 10 minutes! Start the rule early and it will carry through with younger kids to be potty trained. Evan's doing 100 % on potty now and we have decided his big reward at the end.... he asked for part of this... is to go shopping with Daddy and get a fishing pole and just the two of them get to go fishing. He thinks this is very cool to have a day out with Daddy. Jacob has had special Dad time but we had not started it with Evan yet. This will be lots of fun for him. But, he has to go two weeks with no accidents before that happens! We are a few days into it for no accidents, yeah !!! Thank God for seconed children.

Todays Funny's !!!

Jacob and I were talking about how I used to be a Honeycutt and now Im a Capozella. He said So...... you said.... enie, meanie, miney, moe catch a tiger by his toe, my mommy told me to pick you... and you found Daddy. I replied "Yep" so not to get any further questions... LOL !

Then after lunch he asked me if he could have some Doves. I kept saying... Doves.. what do you mean. He kept saying Doves and getting frustrated. I asked him.. like the birds. He said yes. Then I told him to go show me what he is talking about. He went to the cabinet and when I opened it he pointed to the treasure. PEEPS from Easter !!!!! That was funny.

Okay... and one more. He was really having a funny day. Told me that if I was a super hero my head would be a Camera and I would take pictures out of my ears.

Kids keep us smiling !!!!!

Drop them anywhere !

Okay... Evan is doing so good at the Potty but he is just dropping his pants wherever he is. Today at the pool I spotted him dropping his pants beside the pool. I jumped up and stopped him. He did hold it and with swimmers down under his bum he ran to the potty. Got give it to him for atleast holding it and going! Too funny. Well, taking all three to pool by myself went okay. Biggest challenge is getting to the bathroom when each one needs to go. The other hard part is the factor that babies can't have sunscreen on them. That was a little tough because I wanted to play all day with boys but ended up just supervising from the shade. Atleast the boys have eachother to play.

Wear Sunscreen

I know to wear sunscreen, Im usually really good about it. But, today I passed on putting it on, thinking I would not be in sun to long. But, I had on our Baby Carrier the Snugli and now I have a Snugli lines Sunburn on my back.... ouch! We were at the lake today and my friend Kori had a creative idea that I want to share and plan on doing next time Im traveling. She uses a larege retangle food storage container to put lunch in. Complete with the sandwich, fruit, starch and bitty desert! Everything fits and it stays evenly on their laps! Wonderful idea! Thanks Kori ! If you have a creative idea just email me and I will post it... jmcapozella@yahoo.com. I will put together a post with idea's when I recieve them. So... food this week. We made green meatloaf. It had a half cup of pureed spinach in it. The boys know our tricks though, Jacob walked in and said...."Spinach Meatloaf". He was happy though he likes it! We bought carrots now to puree so we will see what we do next. Usually we have orange mash potatoes in October for halloween, but maybe we will have it now too. Have a good Day! Remember send me your creative idea.

First week success !

Okay, so Evan had a Poop accident yesterday at park, but other than that we are doing great with this. I would say there is no turning back now. Today for nap I put him down and about 15 minutes later he came out of his room and told me he needed to potty ! His pull-up was dry and if he wakes up dry I give him a treat !!! Its confusing for kids. We tell them DO NOT GET OUT OF BED, so the past couple of days I have told him, now that he is a big boy he has two reasons to get out of bed. To poop or pee !!!! So this week after he fills a week chart up with stickers I am going to take him to CVS and pick out a single candy of his choice. He has his eyes on one of those push up pops at the counter. Too cute the simple things that make him happy.
So, Its saturday afternoon and I just came back from a run around the neighborhood. Jacob does not have training wheels on his bike anymore and I took him out with me. It was so fun. He stayed just ahead of me and i was running. He is growing up so fast !!! The sun is out and Im ready for some water play! Both Evan and Isaac are asleep so we are enjoying a little quiet time and then go play out after naps. Sorry for not posting past couple of days. The time gets away from me sometimes.

Day 3 !

Wow, I should have started this blog when i was potty training Jacob and been asking questions about what to do then, this time Evan is getting it quick. He only had one accident today and that was a number two after nap. I was busy in the other room and was not beside him to coach him to run to potty. He was sad that it happend and I told him I was sad too and that no Gummy Worms come to him when he has accidents. I even took him to the mall and had a large glass of Lemonade and he still used the potty there and as soon as we got home !!! Yeah ! But we did put him in a Diaper for night time tonight because last night he flooded the bed. My boys drink lots of Water and Milk and night time takes a little longer for us I think. Jacob will be 4 1/2 next month and just a month ago did we take him out of night pull ups. A little late I know but with Baby coming I never tackled it!!!! Yesterday I was drinking slimfast for lunch and the boys wanted a sip. I told them no, that it was an adult drink. Jacob of coarse asked me "WHY", like I hear all day. My why was that I wanted to loose weight and get smalller and he said, "But Mommy I dont want you to be a little person". I laughed and explained to him I was not going to get shorter just hoping to reduce the baby belly !!!!!

Day two !!!

Evan is doing so good on Potty... Here is what we do as our method. No more Diapers at all in house! Every 20 minutes I take him to the Bathroom and get him to go on the potty. If he goes Pee he gets one small candy like M&M, Jelly Bean or Skittle. Then if he poops he gets one larger candy. His Choice is gummy worms !!!! We went together and bought them and I gave him one to eat on ride home. Then I told him if he wanted more then he had to poop on potty. We have been filling a sticker chart for every time he uses the potty. Very big chart , like 15 spots and he is obsessed with bouncy balls and once that chart is filled we are going to mall to buy 25 cent bouncy ball. Later I will get to weekly charts that included a prize at end of week for no accidents. I use things like books, play dough and misc things that they use and will like. So that is what we are doing for now. You have to start small with prizes because you want reward them more later when they are going out and about town with no accidents. Jacob's final reward once he had no more accidetns for two weeks straight was a fish tank and two fish in his room. Im not sure yet what we will do with Evan. Not sure if I want another animal so Im sure it will be some large toy he has his eye's on!!!! We are trying to survive this rainy weather. Boys were swimming in Ohio so this weeks weather is a damper on our summer fun, but it will come soon.

Home again !

Wow, another long but quick weekend has come to an end. We are home. We left Friday morning and back Sunday night. We are crazy for driving 16 hours in three days with three kids and a dog but it all work out !!!! The boys were great travel buddies! Even Isaac !!!! So.... Today we started Potty Training Evan. So Far so good. Only one accident today but that was after nap. I am in it now for the long hull. No more Diapers for him. Now we will put him in Pull ups to go out to stores and stuff but no more at home !!! Check back for our success stories ,,,, (I HOPE ) !!! Happy Memorial Day

Long Thursday !

Today has been long. Started out this morning with taking kids to "Derby Day", where we ride bikes in parking lot with friends. That was tons of fun for the boys! Then home to get lunch and naps done and then packing all afternoon. We are going to Ohio again tomorrow! Going to see the Capozella side of fam! Then Hubby came home, we made dinner then dressed up and we had pictures at church for our directory and you get a free photo with it. The boys were great, well Evan was not at first, Jacob though smilled the whole time like he was stuck in one pose! It was cute thought. Evan on the other hand did not want to do what the lady said at first. I had to throw on my thinking hat and out of my mouth came a short wisper in his ear, "Evan , do everything this nice lady tells you to do and we will go get a Dum Dum". My little Evan's face lite up with excitment and he smiled the most handsome smile. So that was taken care of, now we have been home gotten all three to bed and now offically packed at 10:30 pm now! We will leave as soon as boys wake up! So here is my travel tip, not sure If I wrote this before. We pack our lunches and the boys eat in the car. Then we stop and Joe and I eat while they run around. We have been stopping in a church parking lot and taking their bikes with us and they ride. This helps to ensure nap time in car too! I will be posting after we get back next week. No stories this time about DVD breakins though, only good stories !!!! Happy Memorial Day.

Keep sleeping baby !!!

I just put Isaac down and its 1:30. NO crying so we will see how this goes. He has started to get the fact that Im not going to hold him to sleep and looks comfortable when I put him down in crib. Although now we just need to work on the length of the nap, but Im not worrying about any of that yet. Just to have 30-40 minutes naps is fine with me. I thought of something today that i would share with new moms. I recieved a blanket that I love for Isaac and hope he loves it just as much. Each of our boys has a blanket they sleep with. Well, you know how you are not supposed to put things in their beds because of SIDS well , if you take the blanket and its big enough to do this, tie a not in the middle of the blanket then you dont have to worry about it covering them. I then put it inside the crib along the side and stick one part of the blanket under the crib bumper and out of crib so it holds in place. Now when I put Isaac down he snugles his head in his little blanket beside him for comfort! Okay, still asleep while Im writting this, yeah !

To eat or not to eat ?

Thanks to my wonderful friend Gina @ http://www.funfabulousandfrugal.com/ I got a nice day out shopping! She kept Jacob and Evan safe at home while Isaac and I ran to Richmond and I was able to shop some. So too funny things today.... as i was in line at khols I had Isaac in the front pack and had one of their small carts. As I as waiting to be next in line I realized not only was I soothing Isaac by bouncing him a little I was also rocking the cart. But I did not have kid in there to rock !!!! LOL ! I am so used to everyone around me. Then I went to lunch and sat down and ordered the Salad Bar and two mini burgers. Isaac started one of his crying fits. I knew he was not hungry but nothing I seemed to do would calm him down. (Most every veg gives him gas....) So I started nursing him again and the lady across from me said,"convenient isn't it?" I said, "yeah, except for when you order the all you can eat Salad Bar". LOL ! I never got my salad today....:( Thats okay though my mini's filled me up and waitress gave me a break on price of what I had ordered. Lessone here is always be flexiable ! Children will throw you curve balls all of their lives, you just have to keep swinging!

Keeping up the trend !

So.. we have continued to put Isaac down for naps when he is just drowsy and it is working. Day Three and he does not cry longer than 10 minutes ! Now, I am going in and replacing the pacifer but at age 10 weeks I think he is doing great. At some point in the near future I will just take away pacifer and go through that with him once he is sleeping really good! And, I am putting him to bed earlier and he is sleeping 7 hours straight at night. Now I just need to get myself to bed earlier too so that I get some sleep! Tonight we are going to move him into his own room and out of Bassinet ! With him sleeping so good, we want our room back to move about during the day. Also.... Jacob and Evan got their new sleep arangments. We had Bunk Beds separated for them but now put them back together. Jacob has not had any night accidents in three weeks and we are rewarding him with sleeping on the "Top Deck" of Bunk. Jacob is the captain of his ship and Evan sleeps in the "Bear Cave" He s the Bear and loves sleeping in his cave. All they have been donig is going up and down playing all day! Guess when Isaac starts crawing the boys room will get Baby gate put up. Enjoy the clearing sky from the rain.

Moon Cake anyone?

So, Jacob was watching Kai-lan on Nick channel yesterday as his "show" time while mommy checks out email! Then a few minutes later he comes over and puts his hand on my shoulder and gives this cute little face and says,"Mommy, Kai-lan likes Moon Cakes, I really want one. Can we make one sometime this week?". Then I said, "Jacob I would rather buy you one then try to make you one!" That sent him over the edge...."Oh, mommy that is a great idea, Lets go!!!". You should have seen his smile. Sometimes I think it is really good to let children come up with an idea and make it an adventure and follow thru. So I knew that Hubby needed to get something from the store for dinner so I told Jacob to ask Daddy really sweetly and maybe he could go to store with him and pick one out! That was a very happy boy last night after dinner!
Okay, this is a long post.... So this morning I took boys to Lake to swim and like usually Isaac was not complient. I have had enough. I picked up my phone did a quick call to one of my best friends that I have had since middle school and said,"Okay, I am at my wits end with this boy with not sleeping, not only will he not sleep at home but does not do well in front pack or car seat. Is it too early to do sleep training?" Rachel.... Thank you so much for your confirmation of my feelings because right now it is 1:52 and my 10 week old has been asleep for 25 minutes in his bed and I am not holding him! Okay so how did I do it? At the time I knew he was going to get tired I decided to create routine for him that I plan on doing from today to on thru everyday here on out! I changed his diaper, swaddled him, sat in his room in rocking chair and turn on the music and sang to him for few minutes, then after his little eyes starting rolling I put him in his bassinet with the music on. Did not hear from him for four minutes then he started to cry. I let him cry for 5 minutes then went in and soothed him. Then left. When he started to cry again I set buzzer for 10 minutes and have not gone back. He only cried 8 of those 10 minutes and now has been asleep for thirty minutes. When he wakes up next, Im not going to worry about how long he slept, right now its the blessing of going to sleep without me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WaHOO ! If you would like to read about my method it comes from Dr. Ferber. Dr.'s call it the "Ferber Method". Worked for Jacob, Evan and now hopefully Isaac ! The funny thing is each child has had it happen to them a little sooner than the last !!!!

Bad... "Bag Worms"

So today has brought me beautiful weather and new pets ... LOL ! Jacob was obsessed with those caterpillars last year and just the same this year.... They are called Bag Worms. Build their nest in tree called "Cherry Tree's" and they come out at a certain time for a while to eat then build their cocoons and moth away !!!! Last year the nests were low in the tree's and I vowed to remove them after I saw them because that is all Jacob did last year was let them crawl all over him every day. But, I think they heard me. This year they built their nests too high for me to reach and now we have new pets on our front porch again. The way he asked me if he could keep these adorable creatures..(yeah right!) was so cute. Please mommy, I heard, I want to see a cocoon! Oh well, we now have a sand bucket with netting over the top and inside is Jacobs pet Caterpillar! Then he tells me this little one is lonely so I'm sure we will have more to come. Thank goodness its once a year.

Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty !!!

Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty from Wendy's was the best thing that happened to me Mothers Day Morning. Although.. being blessed by these three adorable boys is the best. But... I told you I would have a story.. well I did not know it would be this one. I guess I was the last one to the car on Saturday evening and I forgot to lock the doors and unfortunately was broken into over night. The biggest thing stolen was kids DVD players. That really sucked. Kids were sad and worried and crazy when Police showed up with worry. I was so upset.. one because Hubby was not very happy with me overall because of doors unlocked and two because I felt so violated because someone that I did not know was in my car and took my babies stuff. I can't believe we have such cold hearted people in this world, it is really sad. But, anyhow, traveling went better than I expected with Isaac he was a good baby and enjoyed his cousins holding him. Have any of you had to deal with kids not wanting to leave their family when time to go? I had to literaly pull Jacob out of my Sister in laws arm to leave Sunday morn. He was so sad to leave them, it broke my heart. We have really good relationship with my brother and family. Well, if you are by a Wendy's try that drink it is sooooo soo soooo good !!!!!!!

Off for a few...

We are headed out of town for a few days. Me and Hubby, three kids and the dog! Its going to be interesting to say the least. I wish everyone a Happy Mothers Day and take time out of the day to reflect what that means. You have been given a gift from God, your child, to cherish and take care of forever! They are precious littles ones that fill our hearts with so much happiness. I have some crazy days with my three but at the end of the day I look at them and think about how someday I wont have those fingerprints on the windows or toddler shoes laying all around the front door. Enjoy your day and look back for me at the beginning of the week. Im sure I will be able to pick one great story from our weekend to share with you!

Today's funny...

Usually I find all kinds of small toys that the boys seem to get into the laundry basket from their room. But today was something different. I found a diaper in the washer when I was taking the clothes to the dryer. I guess I should stop dumping the basket right in and start looking before i wash. Luckily the diaper stayed wrapped up and I think it was just a wet one anyhow !!! SHHuuuu..... LOL !

Birth Control.... lol !

I have always thought that if the shcool could send over some teens to spend the day with me as a credit for their classes they would learn realy quick a form of Birth control. Just come and take care of a baby or the boys and see how demanding it is. I thought of something funny that happend to me on Saturday night. After we tried the Strawberry Farm I wanted to run quick into Target. I took Isaac because... yes he was crying because of car seat...I thought he would stop crying because I was holding car seat and he ususally likes that but he never stopped. I was really quick in Target and on my way out I pass this group of probably 5 couples going to Prom that night with two sets of parents. Isaac was screaming and I just laughed at the thought of "Prom" and looked at the parents and said, "here's their Birth control lesson!" All smiled !!!!!!!!!

Monster "Dog"

Jacob called this his "Dog" sandwhich! They came running really fast for today's lunch !!!!!

Crust anyone?

Why do some kids refuse to eat crust? My Hubby thinks that I have taught the boys this but I swear I have not. I do take it off their P&J sandwiches but only at request, I have not encouraged it. I just gave Jacob two pop tarts and when he said he was all done I went and looked and there a pile of pop tart "crust" laying on the napkin with the inside "icing" part of pop tart gone. Maybe I should make a request that the pop tarts have icing all the way to the corners !!! What I don't understand is that Jacob loves crusty rolls. Give him some Olive Oil and Garlic and he is happy with a roll and eats it all! Oh well, we all have our quirks (Sp). Well, we tried Strawberry picking but the rain came and washed us out! Instead the boys got to jump in a huge pile of picked corn in a bin and later got to go corn picking !!! There were so many corns in Jacobs underwear and Evan's diaper, it was funny. Isaac once again confirmed he does not like the car seat. Cried everywhere we went, poor thing when we finally got home he slept till the next morning!

Busy Week!

Im not sure where this week went... It went by so fast. For someone that does not work and only takes care of her children I was super busy. I guess with Preschool and the nice weather I just feel like we are never home. The boys just eat and want to run outside to ride bikes! Okay so thanks to a friend of mine I looked up carseat options and yes you can buy a frame for the carseat that will swing your baby and vibrate it. But, it still does not look like my arm shaking him around! LOL! NO.. I dont shake my baby, its just that I dont think that swing would do it for my Isaac. He does not even like the regular swing. Oh well. Enjoy your weekend. I think we are off for strawberry picking after I coach soccer today! Please leave comments all you want, I love them!

I have an invention !

I think they should make an attachment for the car seat in our homes. Something that you can bring baby inside from car and put the whole car seat on and it will swing them or vibrate them just as if we were holding the car seat. How many of you have held the car seat while standing and swing it and shake it? That is what I'm doing today. Isaac was his happiest when we were dropping Jacob off at school and there was lots of noise from kids! The other thing my hubby and I have thought is how many of you wold like head gear for those pacifiers? Strap that baby on and keep that thing in their mouth !!! Sounds good to me!

Dinner thought for ya! I pureed spinach this week and last night our pizza sauce was equal parts spinach and tomato sauce. We all loved it. We do a lot with pureed spinach in foods.

$$$

So.. this past weekend we had the yard sale. Jacob was not to pleased with us selling things of his of the past! But... I think he finally caught on. Today(thanks to a mom in HOME club) a mom came by and bought a couple of things and as she was leaving out of the driveway, Jacob turned to me and said, " Did ya get our money?" I laughed at that one and had to call Hubby and tell him. I thought that was cute. He is starting to understand it all a little bit. Not much going on today. Trying to get Isaac to sleep today was a bit of a struggle. Jacob and I had started to make Blueberry Muffins and it actually took us two hours since I had to stop and start because of Isaac not wanting to sleep. But we did make them and everything turned out fine in the end!!!!

Preschool Path

Today Evan told me he had a Boo-Boo on his toe and that we needed to go to the store and get him a new toe !!! Then I chimed in and said we would call the "Toe-Truck", but nobody seemed to get my joke. LOL! My kids think we can get anything at a store I guess! Jacob had a buys day at preschool so while he was having fun I took Evan to the pond to throw rocks. He almost fell in once again. I can't keep my boys away from water at all. This days idea for you is a road on the road. We are always creating new things with our Chalk outside on the road to ride bikes and scooters. This day I made an Alphabet road from A to Z and they would ride their bikes and sing their ABC's as they did. You can see I did not make it straight so they could have some fun riding too! If you only have small area you can do A -Z and have them drive a car on them or use their fingers to do the walking! We bought our last box of diapers for our two year old (almost three). We told him that when last diaper is used that we are not buying any more, so look forward to potty training stories from me!!!!

Lunch Day !

What a busy busy weekend. I was crazy enough to schedule a yard sale on Saturday along with having to get to soccer by 10:30 for picture day and game. All while dealing with the plans for leaving Baby Isaac with Hubby at yard sale! He is so wonderful at it all. Sunday we had make up games too and the biggest news for our family is that Jacob our oldest 4 years and 4 months took off his training wheels on his bike and is riding like a pro at it! He is so amazing at his physical skills! So... that meant Evan needed somthing now since he was riding Jacobs bike so last night was off to dinner in town and Toys R Us trip. Did you know that just because it says Thomas on it the bike cost $10 more. Crazy I think. Isaac has been more alert and harder to put to sleep. But, Im sticking to my guns and keep putting him in his bed and trying to get him to nap without holding. After a few tries it works. He still sleeps like and angel at night. Last night was 9 to 4 am !!!! Enjoy my Lunch idea of week. I really never plan these, just look in fridge and start making! The boys really wanted Mac&Chz today so that ended up being the hair. The tool for using these foods is that you can say... "Evan, I bet you can't eat all his mouth". , etc..... they think its great to prove you wrong and before you know it, lunch is gone!

Sunny Thursday!

Not much to say today.... we had a good morning here in the house and outside playing on bikes. All my boys want to do is ride bikes and scooters. Today I was talking to their Nana and we made an observation that I find to be true. Boys are hard to entertain in the house and really easy outside. We said that today because she asked what the boys were doing and I said digging for worms and putting them in our compost pile! On a side note..... if you are here at my site and think of something to search I have added a Google search bar at the bottom of the page! Also thank you so much for reading my blog and if there is more things you would like to hear from me leave me a comment and let me know!

Happy Earth Day!

Hmmm... today I get to explain to my 4 year old why the cheetah was chasing the deer and grabbed him by the neck. Jacob's teacher and I went back and forth between they are just playing chase and then when they stopped they were tired and rested. Its so hard for a little guy to understand why these beautiful animals would hurt eachother. Although we have been sitting here at breakfast before and had our cat bring us a bird and the boys just yell.... "Oh , no Bella, not again." Then they never ask another question. But, today I get lots of question after we went to town and saw the movie "Earth". I got a wonderful babysitter...(Gina!) to watch Evan and took Jacob and Isaac. I nursed Isaac as soon as we got there as long as he wanted and then he was fast asleep for the rest of the movie. Any of you moms with only an infant.. GO SEE A MOVIE with baby.. you can do it! Treat yourself to something!

Popsicle anyone?

Who thinks about Popsicles at 6:43 in the morning...... ????? Evan that's who. I woke up this morning I kid you not to a cold Popsicle in my face and hear, " May I eat that?". You have never seen a Popsicle put back in a freezer quicker than when I grabed it. What was he thinking? I wish I had some helpful hint that kept our kids in their beds until we were ready to face the day. I never heard any of this while I was sleeping and hubby was in shower. I sleep so heavy after I get up with Isaac to nurse in the early hours. I will say though that we have an alarm clock in their room and I have taught them that they are not aloud to come out of room until it says 6,3,0 ! 6:30! Jacob is really good about talking to Evan until the clock changes. But, most mornings they wake up just after 6:30. If they do get up before then the house rule is not Milk or T.V. until the clocks say 6:30. That seems to change their minds about getting up too early!

E for Evan !

Todays sandwich was made to cheer little brother up as big brother got to go to a friends house for playdate. Evan was a little sad but really like his Salami and cheeze sandwich in the letter E ! Although he ate the bits of chz first and then unrolled the salami then ate! After that he had two yougurts and a granola bar. Sometimes I think he never stops eating and other times we are begging him to eat just one more bite. I love when I tell my hubby that the kids are really hungry or yes they love that food and then we sit down and they prove me so wrong. Or I guess it goes the other way. I send them somewhere with someone and tell them the boys don't eat that and then they do. Too funny how they always change their minds. Since this weekend, Isaac has gotten in the pattern of wanting to nurse then fall asleep then nurse again. He keeps crying when I put him down and then acts so hungry again. So I had to remember some old tricks that start with getting him naked and not so comfortable. I finally got him to nurse nice and long and now he has been sleeping for almost two hours! He just needed some major waking up!

Park idea!

Wow what a busy day! Today I found myself feeling split. A nursing baby, toddler taking a nap and a 4 year old wanting to ride scooters and bikes all day! We enjoyed the day so much. I made sure Jacob and Evan got to bed at a earlier time so that they can have another long day in sunshine tomorrow! So... my creative thought for you this day is something I thought of at the park yesterday to tell you. I think kids sometimes need us to change up our ways to keep things that work fresh. I know alot of us say okay two more minutes and then we are leaving. Sometimes that works but I also like telling my boys that we are getting ready to leave, and they need to pick one more thing that they really want to do before we go and then we are leaving. It works great! Jacob will run off to the play area he wanted to check out and then coming running! Then we when get to the car I tell them how happy I was they did a good job at leaving and that makes me want to bring them back again! Dont forget to sign up as a follower to the right side of blog!

Funny today!

Jacob: "We should make a cake for fathers day"
Mommy: "Fathers day... Mothers day comes first"
Jacob: "Oh, what cake do you want?"
Mommy: " I don't want a cake just a day out strawberry picking with my family!"
Jacob: "Oh...... Mommy.... when is "Brothers Day?"

LOL ! Kids are so great at making people laugh! Enjoying the sunshine here and listening to a quiet house while kids are sleeping.

Sandwich of the week

Sandwich making at my house has become an "art" latley !!! It seems to me that some days I have so much trouble getting the boys to get to the table to eat. So I started making images with our food and the boys come running. Ham and cheese sandwich, grape eyes, teddy graham nose with a piece of cheese over it, and a pickle mouth. They love laughing at the fact that they just ate the eyes, nose or mouth! See what you can create, and I will post one of mine each week.

Three sweets on sweets!

So... I'm sure Isaac is enjoying some chocolate tastes too for all the chocolate we have had this week, since I'm nursing! Jacob and Evan ate applesauce for dinner last night and that was only because that was my deal for them if they wanted the chocolate cake they were staring at!!! Yesterday was worst than Halloween I think... So today we have looked at what we wanted to keep and the other we are going to take to church in a big bowl and leave in the front to share. Isaac was past around so much yesterday he was very tired last night. Slept from 10 pm to 4:20 am. Back to sleep at 5:15 , then I was back to sleep at 5:16 and then had Jacob telling me he pee'd the bed at 5:20. Finally after all that I must have dropped into deep sleep because Hubby woke me up at 7:30 saying I had only a few minutes to get myself together before he left for work! Very quick shower !!! Today everyone tired but making sure we have had lots of down time to rest since we stayed up a little later yesterday for Easter. At 12 today I swaddled Isaac and put him down and he slept three hours for mid-day nap! I really recommend swaddling for babies all the way up till they are rolling or always getting out of it by the time they wake. It gives them a sense of security and reminds them of the womb!

Laughing is sometimes dangerous....

Okay... a wrap up from the day! Isaac was awake for a while and I wanted to go to town so I decided to feed him a little more and then off to town we went! I aimed to be back three hours later so that I would not have to nurse him sitting in a car! It worked just fine. But.. the best part of the whole day and yucky part too was as Evan and Jacob ate their yougurt after dinner tonight, they were laughing so much and Evan choked and I kid you not... Yougurt came out of hise nose. He laughed even harder then after choking. Silly boys today!

Sunny Friday :)

Wow, what a day! We made it to a play group Easter Egg hunt. Good times! If you dont have a lot of support from family, find a local Moms group and join. It makes such a difference. Even if you do have lots of support, play groups and other moms to talk to is wonderful. Isaac slept the whole time we were gone this morning, three hours so we got back just in time to feed him! The boys were already feed and had something in the car too so they were not starving when we got home, that made it easier to focus on the baby! Naps went great, swaddled Isaac and three hours later he woke for chow time! Nursing is nice because we were outside so if he woke up all I had to do was feed him, not run home to make a bottle! Boys in bed now, its 8:00 ! Enjoy the night.

Meet.. Me and my Three!

First came Jacob, my spirited child that is always thinking and has a memory that is unbelievable! Very social and athletic! Then came Evan. So sweet and gentle but also can surprise you with his mood change. Very athletic like his brother and always trying to be just as "big" as Jacob even though they weigh the same and almost just as tall(or not tall,LOL!) Just arrived is Isaac. So far a wonderfully sweet baby that is already falling into suit with his brothers and is the best sleeper. Evan can't stop kissing him and Jacob sings sweet songs, especially when I can't get to Isaac right away and he is crying.
These are my boys and I am so blessed to have them! I am writting this blog in hopes to inspire others about children. I want to follow in my blog my next year with Isaac as I start sleep training him to sleep through the night and starting foods and every little first that is coming. My hopes are to inspire first time moms and even moms of multiples with some of my creative idea's that have worked for my family. I plan on also adding in my day with all three and how I managed to get by !
